Spun out

Like most of you, I’m back to work tomorrow, only unlike most people – I’ve not been in the office for two months now.

The new year return is hard at the best of times, right?

The ups and downs of our situation are exhausting. It’s honestly like a 24/7 flu and I’m wondering physically how I’ll cope back at work, though I am looking forward to seeing my friends there.*

Caroline will be on her own for the first time doing a solo washout in the daytime.  It really is a two person job – though I’m sure she’ll do admirably.

We’re off to Brighton Tuesday to find out more about George’s surgery, the long term consequences of which are causing us concern.

For the brave face we put on, none of this stuff is easy.

* Update 04/01/16

I survived day 1 back in the office.  Everyone was so nice.  It was all a very happy distraction.  Caz got on fine with George at home too.  We’re all ready for bed now though.
