I’m home at the moment as I’m back in the office tomorrow.
I didn’t like leaving Caroline and George behind in Brighton this afternoon, but everything crossed – they’ll be coming home VERY soon.
There’s a tipping point where a patient gets more benefit from being at home.
The surgeon is happy with George. He’s off the morphine, will have his last dose of antibiotics over night, his feed tube has been removed and is back on the breast – though it’s almost as if he’s a learner at that again.
As far as poos go, there’s no stopping him. We’re getting through nappies like there’s no tomorrow. Sponsorship please Pampers.
Without wanting to put you off your supper, his digestive system is a bit like a water slide right now, but that will calm down.
I can’t wait to tell you that the four of us are home together again.
